The HealthRider Club Series H130t Treadmill – Not Worth its Price

The HealthRider Club Series H130t treadmill is an upper price range model that attempts to break the company out of their budget machine reputation. But since the true test of a treadmill is long-term performance, it’s hard to judge how well the H130t will hold up after a few years of use.

The Machine

The HealthRider Club Series H130t treadmill offers 6 Weight Loss Workouts, 16 iFit® Personal Trainer Workouts, and in-handle Quick-Touch Speed & Incline Control feature and a brightly lit LED window to display speed, time, distance, pulse, and calories burned. The features on this model include:

HealthRider H130t Treadmill
  • 3.0 HP Commercial Pro Motor
  • 0-12 mph Max Speed
  • 0-10% Incline
  • 20" x 60" Quiet tread belt
  • 20 iFit Workout Programs; 6 Weight Loss
  • MP3 music port
  • Intermix Acoustics 2.0 Sound System
  • Club-Design BioLogic™ Heart Rate Monitor
  • 350 lbs. max. User weight
  • 2 CoolAire™ Fans
  • SoftStrider® Cushion Deck
  • SpaceSaver Folding design
  • Warranty: lifetime motor/frame; 1 year parts and labor

The Buzz

UPDATE: The Club Series H130t model is no longer available.  You can check out all of the new treadmills for sale at the Healthrider online store for special deals.

Experts give the HealthRider Club Series H130t its props for installing the spin-balanced 3.0 HP commercial motor to run the belt, plus the cushioned deck, and the great workout programs. But while these features are nice, there’s nothing exceptional about the machine and the parts/labor warranty is weak. Healthrider usually makes budget units and perhaps you should stick with that class of machine.

Consumers who pick the Club Series H130t seem to do so because of the music port, stereo speakers and workout programs, as well as the folding design and handle controls. Check the Healthrider treadmill reviews online and see what others are saying about how this model differs from its two siblings, the less expensive H120t, and the H140t (TV treadmill) model.

What We Say

We found the HealthRider Club Series H130t treadmill to be sturdy and it has some nice features, but not worth $2495 -- when it’s compared to the top-selling models. This is a pricey model that serious runners will give a lot of wear and tear to, but frankly it hasn’t been on the market long enough to know if it will hold up to the punishment. For this kind of money, we recommend you look at the leaders of the pack in similar price and specs, such as the Sole F85 or the non-folding Sole S77.
